The Story

Finca Oconor spans 67 hectares along the border of Honduras, surrounded by protected forests. The farm has been in the hands of Isacio Javier Albir since 1992, carrying forward a family legacy of coffee cultivation. After Nicaragua's conflicts in the 1980s, the farm was restored with a focus on biodiversity, preserving 10.9 hectares as a dedicated conservation area.

During the harvest season, Finca Oconor employs more than 180 workers from local communities, ensuring sustainable livelihoods while maintaining a commitment to quality. The farm has become a benchmark for specialty coffee production in the region, consistently innovating and refining its post-harvest techniques.
